Day 9 - All Saints Church
Visitors on Day 9 became part of the scene of travelers, perhaps shepherds; on their way following the star to Jesus' birth. Adventurers had the opportunity to dress up, clutch a lit lantern and follow in the shepherd's footsteps. At the end, under the star; they had the opportunity to light a candle and say a prayer. There were also delicious homemade shooting stars to take home to enjoy later. A lovely, poignant part of the Oxted Adventure.

Day 12 - Polar Express
Tonight’s adventure told the story of the Polar Express. “Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can’t see”. The film was projected onto a big screen while, looking through the window, a real polar express had been created by Woody and Henry. A roaring fire helped us warm our toes and roast marshmallows.

On a very chilly evening Field Court treated us to hot dogs to go with the mince pies and other traditional refreshments. Just what wise people would need on their journey following the star! Thank you all.
